Use and limits
When & Where
Scattered vegetation and grass edges where a subtler baitfish presentation is useful.
Limits and common errors
Head design and retrieve differ from bottom jigs; weeds and branches can still snag.
02Retrieve
Retrieve steps
- Rig the trailer straight and test its swimming action nearby.
- Retrieve continuously over weed tops or along edges.
- Add brief pulses or shakes, then resume swimming rather than leaving it on bottom.
